At present the JSC «MIZ named after Ì. Gorky» owns advanced technologies and based on them has experience of creation  high quality ergonomic medical instruments for various medicine fields (more than 10): general and cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, urology, stomatology, obstetrics and gynecology, cosmetology, veterinary.

150 items were mastered in 2002-2003 ã.: dressing and tissue forceps, scalpels, special instruments for dentists, gynecologists and other medical specialists.
Piece-by-piece out-of-date machinery is being substituted by modern one.

Modern equipment and technologies have been implemented into production:

1. 1,000 ton presses for cold pressing of new products (Czech) ;
2. machines for making broaching tools; (Russia)
3. ÑÒÑ wire blank cutting unit (Japan);
4. Thermo-vacuum treatment (the USA)
5. Contact and laser welding;
6. New clamping instruments assembly technology.

A small-scale production area has been working since March 2001.  All machinery has been bought from the ÂAXTER company (the USA), and that has enabled us to implement a new manufacturing process for the box lock type instruments and reached a new level of quality!  
The Tooling Dpt. has changed greatly after 2-year up-grading. A brand new heating furnace «Sodik» has been put into service, and it has totally changed the processes of heat treatment, tempering and annealing.
